Yahoo is launching Blocked Domains for their advertisers

  • As Google AdWords has done before.

As expected, Yahoo has just informed that they will be launching a new advertiser feature named "Blocked Domains" this month. Blocked Domains will allow Yahoo advertisers to block their ads from showing on up to 250 domains within the Yahoo Publisher Network and distribution network.

Advertisers can control the domains and pages they do not want their ads to show up on.They are expecting to roll out this feature mid-October.More details will be posted at the Yahoo Search Marketing Blog shortly.

The new Blocked Domains feature, which launches later this month, is just the latest among several initiatives Yahoo are undertaking in order to in order to provide increased value.
